So this cool denish design studio called In2Media sponsored an event last august called Dunny Show. Couple of designers join togther to design their version of KidRobot for United Nations 2015 project. All of them turn out really cool, unique and really expensive at the same time, which is a very nice contrast.
Bjarke Ingels Group $5500 Dyhr.Hagen $3100 Johannes & Rune Relly Kölsch /(Ewald & Rasmussen) $6200 Marco Evaristti $9800 Jens Robert Jørgensen $2400 Wood Wood $3100
A very talented friend of mine (EVI) drew me today and the illustration is really awsome. She has a really unique illustration style and she did couple of illustrations for Yen Magazine this month. Check it out.
Jason Godfrey Brochure design is a perennial in the world of marketing and graphic design, yet it can be challenging to execute successfully. Working from his studio in Islington, North London he has designed books for publishers Laurence King, Dorling Kindersley and Pavilion aswell as artists catalogues and other hand made books. One of my fav logos book publish it 3rd series, Tres Logo. some info from the publishers: Logo design is one of the most crucial and challenging tasks in graphic design. Seemingly simple, The Logo becomes the indispensable face of companies and conveys the identity and philosophy of brands.
Los Logos and Dos Logos documented this unceasing evolution. Expanding on the previous editions, Tres Logos demonstrates how influences from illustration and street art have become increasingly evident in logo design inspiring ornamental patterns with logos replacing the abstract tag. Additionally, companies are becoming more daring and exploiting their logos to identify their brand with a certain style and appeal.
Fully indexed and structured thematically, the book draws connections between the applications and the field for which it was intended. Like its predecessors, Tres Logos explores the exceptional visual language and stylistic approaches to logo creation by designers around the globe, exhibiting thousands of examples and simultaneously providing information about the “makers’” personal approach.
Tres Logos is a state of the art visual encyclopedia on the current state and evolution of Logo Design.
Originally, I designed these for PreShrunk T-Shirt competition. But on 2nd thought, i think im just gonna produce all of these under my own label. What do u guys think?comments pliz..inspired by backyard10
Together for the first time in 5 years. On their own, they are brilliant. Together, they are genius. Sublime is one of only 10 dates we are playing together world wide, “and that is more than we have done in the last five years” (Sasha) Synonymous with fans of progressive house, Sasha and Digweed scaled the heights of the global dance scene care of their top class collaborative work in the 90s. Releasing several joint mix CDs, over the past few years both have focused on their own solo careers, however with an Australian tour together in November could we see these two legends of the dance scene working together again in the future? In the live ‘in the spotlight’ webchat that inthemix recently held with Digweed, the superstar DJ, producer, label owner and radio presenter revealed his excitement for the tour. “It’s the first time we’ve played together in Oz since 2000. Individually when we both tour the party is fantastic, so the combination should be even more special”.
Sasha Digweed will play at Sublime Home Club Friday Nov the 3rd. 1st realese ticket soldout. 2nd realese out now A$80.
After Nike launched their NIKE ID, now its time for Puma to take over the stage. Introducing Puma Mongolian BBQ, Puma's DIY collection. The name it self is inspired from Monglian BBQ where someone can choose their own meat, sauce etc. The website it self is designed with a mongolian BBQ restaurant feels, and I must say its a damn fine website!!
CNET Asia got their legs into the notorious Levi's iPod jeans—they probably have a cousin working in a sweatshop that hooked them up—and took it out for a stroll. Their thoughts? The jeans look and feel as good as a regular pair of jeans, but the pocket that your iPod slides into doesn't have enough protection, even though it's hidden to protect your player from thieves.
The built-in headphones have a retracting feature, which is nice, and your iPod is controlled by a durable joystick instead of a clickwheel. The red iPod connector cable actually has negligible effect on the sound quality, but we think the whole cable idea needs to be reworked since it's real easy to get caught on something. The only problem CNET found was that the stock headphones were quite lousy, somewhere on-par with the original iPod headphones. Everything else seems to somewhat justify the $285 price tag.
Over the obsession surrounding sneakers, Swedish duo Alexis and Anna of Gram have designed a range that are less in your face and more on your foot. The Swedes know how to minimise with style and Gram shoes are no exception. The designers have taken upmarket country influences like hunting traditions from aristocratic Britain, and paired them with a streamlined shape made for the city. Named by their weight, a vast range of Gram are now in-store at Somedays - where you can find a shoe to suit your every mood, not just your latest T-shirt.
Is ‘The Rapture’ a hero that saved our generation?
Yes they are! By brainwashed us with that disco punk psychedelic funk ‘House of Jealous Lover’, ‘I Need Your Love’ and ‘Out of The Races and Onto The Tracks ‘, now they’re back with 'PIECES OF THE PEOPLE WE LOVE' with that extra thick sound on the disco side (less punk? Not really. Sound like Radio4? Even better, this is Radio4 with 5 pills of Viagra!). Not only that, they give you 10 tracks with more electronic vibes that sound like a slap on your face, screaming punching sound and thankfully, a more catchy and friendly tunes for our ears (thanks for all those other bands that teach us how to enjoy it). A highly recommended cd for this month, play it loud. I’m sure nobody complains.

'Destroy Minimal' has been compiled and mixed by J16, proprietor of one of East London's key record emporiums, is a collection of the new and exciting sounds that have somehow been termed minimal, yet are full and musical as well as being stripped down and bare.
The tempos have dropped and the styles have opened up. This is the sound of those secret after hours parties where disco, soul, funk and new cosmic sounds dovetail with techno, house and electro. This now once underground sound is fast becoming what defines all club music in 2006!

Nature has been cherished by all of mankind and has been a beloved subject for artists and continues to be today. Artistic confrontation, celebration and manipulation of nature, has never been more prevalent. A young generation of designers, illustrators and artists are taking nature as a starting point and bestowing upon it great importance.
Into the Nature takes you on a visual exploration through nature and how it is being perceived, portrayed and visualized in the contemporary visual arts of the twenty first century. From romanticism to art brut, flora and fauna are reinvented through ravishing imagery ranging from classical and analog approaches to cutting edge graphic design, illustration, photography, objects and 3D installations. Blending various mediums and materials, classic and new alike, it presents us with a (r)evolutionary vision of nature.
